The Virginia Lottery. $9 billion dollars to education, 30 years of fun.

Thank you, Virginia.

Here at the Virginia Lottery, we take playing very seriously. Fun matters. Excitement matters. And so does the education of Virginia's youngest residents. It's the very reason we play so enthusiastically. Every time you scratch a ticket or pick your numbers for the big jackpot, you are creating winners in education all over the Commonwealth.

Last year, the Lottery contributed more than $606 million to Virginia's public schools. While all Virginia Lottery profits go to K-12 education, now school divisions can spend nearly 1/3 of those dollars as they wish giving them more control of where those dollars go.
